The MachiDAO project is an initiative that starts in Yoichi, Hokkaido, to collaborate on revitalizing local towns ("machi").

Rural areas, with their rich nature, relaxed lifestyles, and abundance of healthy and delicious food, are now attracting attention. "MachiDAO" is a platform designed to help small towns unite their strengths and create a greater impact together.

Small towns and villages connect and cooperate to solve various challenges. Each machi leverages its unique features and resources while sharing information and exchanging resources with other machi.

Utilization of Digital Platforms:

Each machi can use digital platforms like Discord to share information, request resources, or offer them to others.

Autonomy and Cooperation Among Machi:

Members of each machi manage their own affairs while collaborating with other machi to tackle larger projects or address shared challenges.

Introduction to the World:

Japan's natural resources are gaining international attention. We aim to first showcase the beautiful landscapes around us and share them with the world.
